Grow healthier and more sustainable
Studies have revealed that the primary obstacle to success and growth for cleaning companies lies in the quality of service they provide. But why is this such a prevalent challenge in our industry? The root of this challenge stems from the historical perception of cleaning as an unskilled trade, lacking in necessity within our homes and businesses. Until we change this false belief within our own mindsets, teams, and business structures, the quality of cleaning companies will continue to suffer.
When the AHCA (American House Cleaners Association) was established in 2019, cleaning services were predominantly viewed as a luxury offered by individuals associated with “low cortile” positions. While significant progress has been made in shifting this paradigm, there is still a long way to go. Traditional models of cleaning services and franchises have often prioritized top-heavy structures that focus on managers and owners, while undervaluing the essential role of the cleaning providers. These providers are often burdened with KPIs and micromanagement, treated as mere “extra hands” assigned to perform “unskilled” and “unimportant” work.
We are dedicated to challenging this outdated paradigm through authentic and comprehensive education, inspiration, and community building. Through our efforts, we have certified thousands of cleaners nationwide and have empowered numerous companies to grow in healthier and more sustainable ways. Join us in this revolution against the stigmas and ignorance that plague our industry. Together, we can dismantle misconceptions, elevate the importance of cleaning as a skilled profession, and create a supportive community that fosters excellence and success.
